Located on Fort Sill Army Base of operations in Lawton, Oklahoma. LETRA is 12 miles NW of the main post. Follow I-44 to the Medicine Park get out #45. Follow Hwy-49 to the Apache Gate Entrance (signs on Hwy-49 land Truck Traffic – Ft. Sill). Nevertheless, this gate is non open up 24 hours. Go to the MP bank check station. RV Camping Prices are Daily $35.00/night, Weekly $130.00/week, and Monthly $415.00/31 nights.
The rustic, wooden cabins are bachelor in 3 sizes: small ($80/night), medium ($ninety/night), and large ($100/night). Cabins come up equipped with furnishings, heat and air, a Television, a DVD player, and kitchen supplies.Linens are not included.

Our Review
Information technology'southward a overnice enough campground. Gravel full hook-up sites with xxx & 50 amp service with a bit of grass. LETRA is a fantastic recreation area. Plenty to do for the entire family. The location isn't too convenient for shopping and the main postal service, merely this makes it ideal for a recreation area. We stayed at Lake Elmer Thomas Recreation Area in the eye of March 2022 and so not everything was open for the summertime season still.
The campground hosts were very squeamish, friendly, and helpful.
One thing bringing this park downwards is allowing so many full-time residents. The full-fourth dimension trailers in the back of the campground have fashion as well much junk around them making the place expect more like a trailer park with trailer trash than a Recreation Area. Our domestic dog Ruby was attacked by a dog while we were on a walk. Ane of the full-time residents had a fence kennel that the door was left open for the dog to run through. Looking at other reviews this seems to exist an issue hither.
This campground/recreation area is on an agile Army base and is the primary base for arms training. You lot may come across and hear the Army firing arms throughout the day or night.
